何謂「Upcycle」？

一般較認識「Recycle」即是將物件回收、分解加工、再造成新的產品。而「Upcycle」是在原有的物件加入創意及技術，改變原有用途再賦予升級成新的用途及價值。

這個系列的泰國實木家具就以Upcycle的意念，將廢料收集並用作家具生產。尤其餐枱面層一條條原木拼合的層次感，就是以多塊胡桃木拼湊在一起，加入了Upcycle廢料及設計師的工藝創意而成。創作及生產的過程主張使用Upcycle的方式而取代了Recycle是因為Recycle需要先分解再生產，當中涉及再度消耗能源及增加炭排放，Upcycle就不會有這個問題，真正的環保再用。
